February 18 - Running To Stand Still

One of two U2 songs about addiction that musically describes how I feel at the moment, Running to Stand Still is one of their very best songs. Period. Released on 1987s The Joshua Tree, this little song feels like parched desert, much like what Ry Cooder did in The soundtrack to Paris, Texas.
